Nutritional Counseling
Comprehensive Approach to Nutrition
Nutritional counseling is a specialized form of healthcare that focuses on helping individuals make informed and healthy dietary choices to optimize their overall health and well-being. This form of counseling is typically provided by registered dietitians, nutritionists, or other healthcare professionals with expertise in nutrition.
Overall, nutritional counseling plays a vital role in promoting healthier eating habits and improving overall health outcomes. It empowers individuals to take control of their nutrition, make informed choices, and work toward achieving their health and wellness goals.
Personalized Guidance: Nutritional coaching offers one-on-one support to create personalized dietary plans tailored to an individual's unique needs, health goals, and dietary preferences.
Education and Awareness: Coaches provide clients with in-depth knowledge about nutrition, helping them understand the value of different food groups, portion control, and the role of essential nutrients for overall health.
Behavioral Change: Nutritional coaching goes beyond dietary recommendations; it addresses emotional and behavioral aspects related to eating habits, helping individuals make sustainable and healthier choices.
Long-Term Health: The focus of nutritional coaching is not just on short-term goals but on establishing long-lasting healthy eating habits that contribute to improved health, reduced risk of chronic conditions, and overall well-being.
Sherina Noblitt, RDH, FNC
Functional nutrition counselors work to create individualized plans that promote whole-body health and wellness for our clients. We evaluate nutritional needs based on lifestyle, genetic, and environmental factors. We work to uncover underlying food or environmental-related health issues such as nutrient deficiencies hormone imbalances, food allergies or sensitivities, and mold and toxin exposures to name a few. These conditions are often the root causes of many common symptoms such as GI distress, weight retention or unexplained weight loss, skin issues, fatigue, brain fog and more.
I'm excited to share the knowledge I've gained so far and to help our clients feel better and live happier, healthier lives.

Assessment and Evaluation
The process often begins with an initial assessment, where the counselor collects information about the client's eating patterns, medical conditions, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
Long-Term Support
Nutritional counseling often involves ongoing support and follow-up sessions. This ensures that clients can sustain their progress and make necessary adjustments as their goals or health status change over time.
